Many thanks to the Lakeside Construction & its friends (who did all the work), Security Team (who spotted an extensive damage to the building) and Parish Center Committee. Saint Jude Parish is grateful for all the work on the entrance circle (roundabout). The Lakeside Construction & its friends fixed the problematic curb stones damaged during snowplowing at the main entrance to our parish. If you have an opportunity to do so, please thank them for all the work they've done for us.

Last week (May 8th), in accordance with the May's tradition, the Rosary & Altar Society crowned a statue of Mary. The event started in front of our church with a procession that ended in our Prayer Garden. The Prayer Garden was renovated by our parishioner, Bill Wagner. It is now, a place of praying for many of our neighbors and parishioners. We are thankful to Bill for his work on the Prayer Garden, Knights of Columbus and many other people involved in making the Prayer Garden a place we can be proud of.

We have officially kicked-off the implementation of our $150k security grant (2021 FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program) with the issuance of the first of several Request-for-Proposals (RFP). The first phase is focused on surveillance cameras, alarms, and building access control systems. This will be followed by a Door RFP later this year that targets the replacement of many aging doors across all three buildings, including the main doors of the church. John Gregory Armeno passed away at the age of 83 on November 23, 2021, at VNA Hospice, St. Clare’s Dover, with his loving family by his side. He was a long-time parishioner and supporter of Saint Jude Church. He served as a Cantor, Lector, Usher, CCD and Confirmation Teacher.
