Boys and Girls who have received their first communion are invited to participate in the parish liturgies as altar servers. Training sessions for new servers are offered on an as-needed basis.

Mission Statement: Altar Servers assist the priest during the Mass, so that he may give full attention to the celebration.

Stewardship Needs: You must be willing:

• to be trained and serve in the ministry
• to be a part of the worshiping community in various liturgical celebrations

• Light Candles
• Bring Gifts to Ushers at Back of Church

• carries the cross at the beginning of Mass,
• carries the cross at the end of Mass.
• during the offertory procession receive the gifts
• wash the priests hands
• clears the altar

• Presents book to Priest for Opening Prayer and Final Prayer
• receive the gifts during the offertory procession
